        You used this site last year when you studied the oceans.  They also provide information about weather.

        FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) provides excellent overviews of various disasters including weather.
Extreme Science: How's the Weather?
    A former NASA scientist, Elizabeth Keller, maintains this site about extreme weather events.

Climate Research
International Research Institute for Climate Prediction is devoted to researching changes in the earth's climates.  This site includes world maps of yearly precipitations and monthly temperatures among others.
UM Weather
        The University of Michigan provides weather information for more than 800 locations.  This site has live weather cams.
Earthweek
        Earthweek uses information found in newspapers from around the world to report on extreme weather conditions.  Chart or graph these extreme conditions.
